The Community Health Nurse I & II provides community Health services in collaboration of Healthcare team individuals or families. The Health Nurse assists clients in promotion/ protection & restoration of Health in order to prevent/ provision of health interventions (health promotion, occupational health & safety, public health, & community development to therapeutic treatment) to implement direct association on Health status of clients, & the community.

The Health demonstrates awareness of Inuit culture & traditions by incorporating knowledge into practice, recognize/ interact with cultural differences in the delivery of client education services, as part of the Health Care team in evaluation of community Health programs & services/ modifying/ act as resource to Health representative to conduct wide variety of specialty public health clinics i.e. Health education classes or sessions, & school health care programs etc.

The Health Nurse programs & services, or Registered Nurse employments visit Health Centre.
