The Support Officer assist Kivalliq Inuit Association (KIA) & Agnico-Eagle Mines (AEM) in ensuring that the provisions of the Meadowbank, Whale Tail, or Meliadine, & Inuit Impact & Benefit Agreements (IIBA) are implemented. This is a critical operational role that provides support in the implementation of the IIBAs to ensure that Kivalliq receive the proper employment, training, business/ logistics, & social benefits associated with the resource development in the Kivalliq Region.

The CSO is resource between KIA & AEM on meetings/ IIBA transcripts, or on site working groups.
